The building of the ‘Tower of Babel’ (Genesis 11) may be seen to convey what it means to be united in purpose for a common cause. Unity may well be the cement mixed and poured to bring success.
The scourge of Serious Youth Violence (SYV)has been with us for some time, and it has caused undue pain and suffering to many families and individuals and people groups. Violence is an enemy, which the church and others must work hard together to combat. That’s why the Church of God of Prophecy (CoGoP) is pleased to be part of the Synergy Network a coalition of churches and para-church organisations working collaboratively to address this issue.
The CoGoP subscribes to the view that more can be achieved through our combined partnerships than through individual efforts, hence we wholeheartedly endorse the intentions of Synergy.
The CoGoP is likewise, extremely pleased to support the launch of this Website, which brings into view our organisation, structured thinking and collaborating. This means of highlighting the work of Synergy will serve as an information source, and as a sign-post for users and practitioners alike
