London’s Violence Reduction Unit’s Multi Faith Network has issued a statement for Inter Faith Week honouring the role of faith communities in supporting young Londoners, below:

As a Multi Faith Network, focused on using faith as a foundation for supporting efforts to reduce violence across London, we stand united in emphasising a message of hope and peace.

This Inter Faith Week, we recognise the vital role of partnering with people of different faiths to tackle violence affecting young people.

We are committed to working together to:

  • Keep young Londoners safe.
  • Support communities to flourish
  • Empower faith leaders and organisations

 
By working together, we can build a better and stronger city where no one is left behind.
