While we do know that a lot of young people have been affected by serious youth violence, with far too many tragically, losing their lives, we do know that some have managed to turn their lives around.
Often, this transformation has been as a result of some intervention from an organisation or individual – or something divine. Here, we want to showcase these stories of hope to emphasise that lives can be changed and that it does not always have to be like this.
